Hey everyone. What is a hybrid embossing folder, you ask? And most importantly, how do you use one? Stampin’ Up! only has a few of these in our various catalogs. The hybrid embossing folder is relatively new. It comes as a set with a 3D embossing folder and corresponding dies.
The newest one shows up in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. It comes with a set of 9 dies and one of the dies fits right into the heart shape in the center of the embossing folder.
They are super easy to use and they cut and emboss your cardstock in a single pass through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Yes, you read that correctly, in a single pass!
All you do is fit the die into the appropriate shape in the embossing folder, making sure the cutting edges are facing up. Add your cardstock and run it through.
