FAQ about joining Stampin’ Up!

Below are some Frequently Asked Questions about joining Stampin’ Up! as an Independent Demonstrator. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions not covered on this page.

Q: What are the minimum sales requirements?

  • A: You only have to submit $300 in sales per quarter to remain an active Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. You may drop anytime you wish. The $300 quota is based on “retail” sales. Although, you receive a 20% discount on all personal purchases, but the quota still counts at the retail price.
FAQ about joining Stampin' Up!
  • Stampin’ Up! Quarters:
    • Jan-March
    • April-June
    • July-September
    • October-December
  • The quarter you join is waived, so you need to submit your first $300 by the end of the following quarter.
  • Your personal purchases, plus any sales to friends and/or customers, all count toward your $300 minimum.
  • There are no penalties for not meeting the $300 minimum. You simply go inactive. You become a customer again and not a demonstrator. The only downside would be you wouldn’t receive the discount and bonus demonstrator perks anymore.
  • There is a one month grace period if you don’t meet your $300 minimum. You have an extra month to make up the difference to reamin active. In other words, if you’ve only met $250 during the quarter, you may remain active if you make up the last $50 the following month. This will not count towards the next quarter’s quota.
