Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog on this cold and snowy late May day in Colorado! Today we’re making a #simplestampin card using the Sentimental Swirls stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This Sentimental Swirls Card is so easy you could make a dozen of them in no time at all.




Supplies

  • Basic White Cardstock; 8½ x 5½-score long side at 4¼”, 5 x 3¾”
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock; 5 1/8 x 3 7/8″
  • Coordinating Ribbon
  • Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels
  • Blackberry Bliss Ink
  • Fresh Freesia Ink
  • Bermuda Bay Ink

The biggest thing you should know is to have a stamp and pierce pad under your work surface. These stamps are photopolymer stamps and need the extra cushion of the stamp and pierce pad to give you a good image.

The next item of note is when you stamp the big swirl, make sure the long arm of it goes straight across your card-not at an angle. This will leave you plenty of room for your other elements.
