Quick Tip for Cutting Glitter Paper

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to log on today and give you a quick tip for cutting glitter paper of any kind. If you have ever cut glitter paper, you’ll know that it dulls your trimmer blades very quickly. This makes them too dull to use on your cardstock within one use on glitter paper.

Cutting Glitter Paper Quick Tip

Here’s my quick tip for cutting glitter paper. When my trimmer blades get dull, I save one and mark it with a sharpie. I actually write “Dull” on the top of the blade. It may be too dull to trim cardstock with, but it is just fine to trip glitter paper.

I switch out my sharp trimmer blade for the dull blade. Then I put the glitter paper in the trimmer upside down so the glitter is facing the platform of the trimmer. At this point, I cut away! The blade is perfect for the glitter paper.
