Placing An Online Order

So you want to know what to do when placing an online order on the NEW Stampin’ Up! website. What do you do? How do you designate a specific demonstrator? How do you use a host code? When do you use a host code? I’m going to take you through the easy steps to do all these things and more!

Create An Account

So your first step is to click here to get to Stampin’ Up!’s shopping page. Don’t worry, this should open in a new browser page, so you won’t lose these instructions. Once you have that page open, you can toggle back and forth between this page and that one while you complete your steps.

At the top of the page, to the far right of the page, you’ll see “create account” and “log in”. If you already have an account, here is where you log in. If you don’t have an account, click on “create account” and follow the prompts to create an account.

Designating a Demonstrator

At the end of creating an account it will ask you to choose a demonstrator. Please choose me, Terri Aldridge, if you live in the USA. Also, on the top left of the page, you’ll see the country. It should show the US flag and USA if you live in the USA and “Find a Demonstrator.” You can choose find by name or location. Type in my zip code, 80908, or my name and it should pop up as an option to choose. Once you’ve chosen your demonstrator, click start shopping and my name will show up next to the USA flag on the top bar to show you are shopping with me. If you ever have any questions I can help you with, please feel free to contact me.

Shopping

Once you have an account, have designated a demonstrator, and/or have signed in, you can begin shopping. Here is the exciting part! If you know what you want, you can simply type in the name or item number next to the magnifying glass on the upper right side of the screen. The new website will show you several options you can choose from or your item if it is the only one. If you aren’t certain what you want, under the “Shop Products” tab are all the different categories you can browse through to find what you’re looking for. Once you find an item, add it to your shopping bag. Keep adding items until you’re done with your shopping. If you’d rather peruse a catalog, click here to download our current catalogs.

Favorites List

While placing an online order, check out the favorites list! Some of us call it a wish list! As you are perusing through the website, take note that each thumbnail has a little heart outline under the picture. If you click on that heart, it fills in and the item is added to your favorites list. You can then send that list to someone for a birthday or Christmas list for ideas of what you’d like for your special day. Be sure to include my information along with your wish list. It doesn’t automatically get sent with the list. That way, I can help your loved one with their shopping.

Host Code

Once you’ve added all your items into your shopping bag, click on the little shopping bag with a heart at the top right of the screen. This page will come up.

If you have a host code from me, this is where you put that in. To the right side of this page, right under the checkout bar, you should see a header labeled “HOST CODE”. Click on the “Host Code,” and type in this month’s host code here. You need to do this BEFORE you click the “Checkout” button.

When not to use a host code

Even if you have a host code from me, if your order is over $150 before taxes and shipping, don’t use the host code. Order with yourself as the host. (This is automatic) This way, you’ll get the host freebies and reap the host benefits. Do this unless you are a member of one of my clubs. If you are a club member, your order should get credited towards that month’s host, no matter the amount.

Check out

After you’ve input all your items and put in your host code, you can check out. Checking out is like any other on-line experience. Since you already created an account, all you’ll need to do is add your preferred payment method and your order will be shipped directly to your door.

Placing an online order with the new Stampin’ Up! website is easy. During these days of semi-isolation due to the pandemic, eliminating the middle man is essential to everyone’s health. Check back here often for more tips and inspiration while we all get through this “new normal.” Happily, we’re back to holding small in-person classes. We are all so happy to be back! Hugs!
