Today’s card tutorial and video is for this Pinwheel Tower Card fun fold card. It is way easier than it looks and so much fun to make.
I’m going to try something new today with this blog post. If you want a step-by-step tutorial of this card, please view the video embedded in this post. In the video, I give you several tips and tricks for making this card. The biggest challenge I found when teaching this card to my classes, was getting confused when placing the DSP. I think I’ve come up with a fool-proof way to avoid that confusion in the video.

Supplies
- Flowers of Friendship Bundle
- Soft Succulent Cardstock, 5½ x 4 7/8″, score short side at ½, 1¼, 2, 2¾”, 3x 5½ x 2 1/8″, and scraps for punching out leaves
- 2021-2023 IN Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, I used Evening Evergreen
(1x 5 3/8 x 2, 2x 5 3/8 x 1¼”) and Polished Pink (2x 5 3/8 x 2, 2x 5 3/8 x 1¼”) - Basic White Cardstock, 2 x 5 3/8, 1¾ x 5 1/8″
- Polished Pink scrap to punch flower petals
- Evening Evergreen Ink Pad
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels

This pinwheel tower card is not only a fun fold card, but it includes a technique called paper piecing. We stamp the Flowers of Friendship, then adhere petals over the stamped image (see video for details)
