Angled gate-fold card

Welcome back everyone. Today’s fun fold card is called an Angled Gate-Fold Card. It is actually a double angled card, since both the tops and sides are angled. I’ve seen many versions of these on pinterest, but most of them have a belly band on them. Today’s card is courtesy of KJ Driscoll, my upline. She sent me this card with the instructions. She used a magnetic closure instead of a belly band. I loved this idea. Thank you KJ!

I’ve made this version into a baby card using the Elephant Parade Stamp Set and some Designer Paper that was free with qualifying purchase during the last Sale A Bration. As you can see from the examples, you can use any stamp set and any 3 coordinating Designer papers. Check out the video below for complete step-by-step instructions. Supplies List and Measurements

Angled gate-fold card
  • 3 Coordinating Designer papers. You’ll want one with a big pattern 3 1/8 x 5 ¼”, one with a small pattern 3 1/8 x 5¼, and one with a medium pattern 5¼ x 4″. All of them need similar colors. See video on how to cut angles.
  • Bermuda Bay Cardstock (retiring May 2023) Coastal Cabana is a good substitute depending on the Designer paper you choose. 5½ x 11″, score long side at 3 3/8 on both sides. See video on how and where to cut angles.
  • Basic White cardstock, 3¾ x 4″ + scraps for sentiment.
  • Elephant parade stamp set (retiring)granite
  • Double oval punch
  • 2 Neodymium magnets 1mm x 10 mm, I get these off of Amazon.
  • Tuxedo Memento black ink
  • Bermuda Bay ink (retiring) (Coastal Cabana is a good substitute)
  • Gray Granite Blends Markers
  • Soft Sea Foam Blends Markers
  • #1000 Blends Markers
