So, the other day, I was playing with the new Hello Ladybug Bundle, and I wanted to show you some of ladybug builder punch ideas I came up with. It isn’t just for making ladybugs, but much more! Punch art is always a favorite of mine and seeing what you can do with a punch other than how it is originally intended is always a challenge to me.
You can see, I came up with several different bugs and animals. As I’m typing this, I’m thinking you could also make a snowman. I’ll have to try that, as well. The flowers are made using just the wings and a circle punch.
Obviously, the first flower uses many more of the wings than the simple flower shown second.
The second row in the picture above shows the ladybug in various stages – wings open and wings closed. The third ladybug has its wings rounded for a 3D effect. You could also round the wings on the bees. Then there is the fat cat, the bunny and the bat…all very cute!
