Instructions

Just Sayin' Gilded Leafing Card

Stamp the flower with Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss inks on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock. It is a two step stamping technique, so stamp the bigger flower with Rich Razzleberry and the smaller one with Blackberry Bliss. Stamp the stem/leaves in Just Jade. Die cut these out with the Floral Gallery dies.

While you’re die cutting things out, cut out the “Just want to say” in gold foil from the same die set.

Making the Just Sayin’

Once you’ve die cut the Just Want to Say out, set aside the “just and say”. We’ll need to manipulate the want. Cut the “t” off the end of want and turn the “a” into an “i” as shown in the video and picture. Adhere this to the end of the “y” in the word say. You may want to line this up on a grid sheet to make sure you are gluing it on straight.

Putting it all together

Just Sayin' Gilded Leafing Card

Lay it all out before adhering anything. The flower needs to be positioned just right for the words to fit. Make sure you keep one of the little chads that come out of the middles of the letters. We’ll use one of these for an apostrophe at the end of “sayin’.” Once you’ve got everything laid out, you can start adhering things down. I popped the flower and put the words straight down.

Tie a bow from a skinny ribbon and with a glue dot, adhere it to the stem of the flower.

The Inside of the Card

For the inside of the card, use Soft Sea Foam ink and stamp the flower in the middle of the panel. It will be a subtle tone on tone. Then stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss over the top of the flower.
