Hi Everyone. Today we’re making this elegant Just a Note embossed card using the Encircled in Friendship Bundle. The inspiration for the background embossing came from a retired Designer Paper. I wanted a similar look to the retired DSP, without using the actual paper. The background really makes the card beautiful and the laciness of the Encircled in Beauty dies makes the sentiment stand out.
Supplies List
- Encircled in Friendship Bundle (includes Encircled in Friendship stamps and Encircled in Beauty Dies)
- Basic Black Cardstock 4¼ x 11″, scored at 5½”
- Copper Foil, 3 pcs cut to 1½ x 3¾”
- Blackberry Bliss, 4¼ x 3½”
- Very Vanilla, 5¼ x 4, scrap for sentiment
- Polka Dot Ribbon (Retired) Can substitute Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Ribbon. approx 8″
- Metallics Embossing Powders (I used copper)
- VersaMark Ink Pad
- Heat Tool
- Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad
- Champagne Rhinestone (need 1)

Quick Instructions
Stamp the blackberry bliss piece all over with VersaMark ink. Heat emboss with copper embossing powder.
Once that is done, you are going to cut it into 1¼ x 3½” strips. You should get 3 of them with a little strip left over. Set aside the little strip. Keep the 3 bigger strips in order and mount them onto the copper foil pieces. Mount these onto the card base, placing the outer ones first and the middle one last. This way you’ll be better able to gauge if they are even and centered. See the video for better instructions.
Cut out the sentiment with the Encircled in Beauty Die, then stamp the sentiment into the center of the cut out. Pop this up on the front of the card in the lower right corner. Attach a bow.
Take the strip you set aside earlier and attach it to one end of the inside piece of Very Vanilla. Attach this to the inside and you have your Just a Note Card!
