Gift Card Wallet

Gift Card Wallet

Today I’m going to show you how to make an adorable and super easy gift card wallet. I’m not calling it a gift card holder because it is more substantial than that. The finished size of this gift card wallet is approximately 4½ x 7″. You can also use it to gift cold hard cash.

You can make these gift card wallets for any occasion. I just made them for Christmas in my video, but they would work equally as well for a birthday, graduation, wedding, or any other occasion where you want to gift money or a gift card.

Supplies

gift card wallet inside
  • Designer Series Paper to fit your occasion, cut to 8 x 10″, score at ½” on all 4 sides, and at 5″ on the long side.
  • Coordinating Cardstock, 2 pcs 6¾ x 4 3/8″, 1 pc 6¾ x 2½” (for pocket)
  • Smaller pieces for decoration and stamping.
  • Ribbon for a bow

Score 8×10 piece  at ½” on all 4 sides. Score long side at 5” as well. Fold and burnish all score lines. Cut out and miter cut the corner squares created by the score lines. Take your 2 pieces of solid cardstock and place it on the inside of the DSP right up to but not covering the center score line to give a finished inside of the project. Grab the pocket piece and put scor tape on 3 sides, leaving one long side open. Place on bottom of inside of wallet. Decorate.
