Stamping
The two 4 x 2½” pieces of Whisper White are the front and inside of your card. Stamp the penguin in Memento Black on one piece toward the top. Stamp your sentiment in Pacific Point on the other piece in the middle.
Once you’ve stamped your penguin, grab the snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes set and your stampin’ pierce mat. Place the stampin’ pierce mat under your grid sheet. Next ink up the snowflakes with Pacific Point ink and stamp off TWICE. Proceed to stamp the snowflakes around the penguin, inking up and stamping off as needed. I stamp off twice because I want my snowflakes to be a light background, not bright. Since the snowflakes and most of the rest of the stamps are photopolymer, keep your stampin’ pierce mat where it is.
Stamp the snowflakes around the inside sentiment, as well. Grab the smallest piece of Whisper White and stamp the front sentiment on this. Stamp a snowflake background on this and on the last plain piece of Whisper White. All your stamping is done.
Coloring
Color your penguin with the blends markers. Give his scarf and hat a bit of sparkle with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
Assembling the Freezin Fun Gift Card Holder
Place the two pieces of Designer Paper (patterned paper) on either side of the card base (5½ x 4¼”). Place the Whisper White panel you stamped with the penguin on the outside front of the 8½ x 2¾” and the sentiment sheet on the inside.
To create the gift card holder, adhere the Whisper White piece measuring 2½ x 1¾ that we stamped with snowflakes, to the Highland Heather piece measuring 2¾ x 2. Next place strong, skinny adhesive on 2 short sides and 1 long side of the back of this piece. Adhere this to the top of the inside of the card, making certain that the opening (side without adhesive) is facing the fold.
Place adhesive on the back of the 8½ x 2¾ piece of Highland Heather and glue is down to the middle of the card base.
