Our Embossing Pastes work extremely well at adding texture to projects. They work so well, that if you don’t wash them off immediately, you won’t get them off…ever! Here’s a quick tip to use with our embossing paste.
Adding texture to projects sometimes makes or breaks a project. It adds the wow factor to take it up a notch and make a good project great! That being said, texture can sometimes be a pain to work with. It dries out on your masks and ruins them very quickly. It turns to cement on your pallet knives prompting you to either not use it ever again or to buy new equipment every time you use it. This isn’t necessary. Today’s tip will let you reuse your equipment time and again!
Embossing Paste Quick Tip
When you work with our Embossing Pastes, always have a pan of warm water plus a couple of drops of dish soap on your table. Wash your mask and pallet knives off immediately when you are done working with them. If you need to, you can gently scrub them with a soft bristled scrub brush. This should work in getting all the stubborn little bits of paste off the mask and pallet knives.
If you clean off your masks and knives right away, they will stay clean and be ready to use the next time you want to add texture to your project. If you delay even a few minutes, you may be buying new masks and pallet knives. No more throwing away perfectly good masks because the paste turned to cement on it and ruined it.
