Hi all, it has been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything. Sorry. Today, we’ll be making a Double Diamond Pop Up Card to fit in a 5 x 7″ envelope. I got the inspiration for this card from Sam at Mixed Up Crafters, but her card and measurements meant I needed to make my own envelope. Well, I’m sort of lazy when it comes to envelopes, so I recreated the Double Diamond Pop Up Card with smaller measurements. It will fit a
5 x 7″ envelope. This card will also go through the US Postal system. It will probably require extra postage, but then what doesn’t these days.
Supplies List
Here are the particulars of this card:
- Cajun Craze Cardstock for card base; 10½ x 7″. Score long side at 1¾, 3½, 7, 8¾”. See video for diagonal scoring. 3¼ x 3¼” square
- Early Espresso Cardstock; 2 pcs of 6 7/8 x 1 5/8″, 2 pcs of 2 3/8 x 2 3/8″
- DSP; 2 pcs of 6¾ x 1½”, 2 pcs of 2¼ x 2¼” , and 3 x 3
- Very Vanilla; 2 pcs of 1½ x 6¾, 2¾ x 2¾”

I really like this Double Diamond Pop Up Card. It is unique and perfect for a fall birthday. You could also put a different sentiment on it and use it for anything…sympathy, thinking of you, hello, etc. Change the papers and you have a Christmas card, or card for any other time of year! It is so versitile, the Double Diamond Pop Up Card can be used for any holiday, any occasion, any time of the year!
