days to remember

There are a couple of things you need to know about the Days to Remember stamp set. First, the numbers are all one stamp and the designer of the stamp made it so you can move the stamp side-to-side so the numbers line up for each week, no matter which day the month starts on. Second, the stamp is designed so that seven days fits exactly the width of our Stampin’ Up! ink pads, so don’t have to mask much. (See the video for a visual description). The picture denotes a month where Sunday is the 1st and I’ve only inked up the right side of the stamp. If the month had less than 31 days, I would have had to mask that, but other than that, there is no masking!

Once you’ve done all your stamping, you’ll want to flag the month piece. An easy way to manually flag something is to cut down the center first then cut diagonally from the corners to the center cut on either side of your initial cut. This should give you pretty even flags.
