Stamping

Ink up the largest corner floral stamp in the Corner Bouquet Stamp with Blackberry Bliss ink and stamp it on the lower left of your 5 x 3¾” piece of white cardstock. Leave the stamp on the page for a few seconds so the ink will soak into the page well. With this size of stamp and the dark ink, you need a couple of seconds for the ink to set.

While you are working with this stamp, bring in your card base. You can either re-ink the stamp or go from here. If you re-ink the stamp, stamp off twice on a scrap piece of paper, then stamp in the lower right corner of the inside of the card base. If you don’t re-ink, stamp off once and stamp.

Sponging

Next, we’ll want to bring in our scrap piece of cardstock with the 2½” circle punched out. Place the punched out circle in the upper right area of the card front. With a stamping sponge, sponge in the area with blackberry bliss ink. You’ll want this area pretty dark.

Once your circle is sponged in, you’ll want to sponge in half of the card front. This you’ll want much lighter and with a dark to light effect. The lightest area should blend to the left where the corner bouquet is. Create this effect by lifting the sponge off the paper as you run it from right to left.

More Stamping

We only have two more bits of stamping and we can assemble the card. Both these sentiments are from the Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set. Stamp Thinking of You in Blackberry Bliss ink on the front of the card. Half of the sentiment should be inside the dark circle and half of it should be in the white area of the card.

Stamp the “Prayers and Heartfelt sympathy are with you and your family” sentiment on the inside center of the card in Blackberry Bliss ink.

Assembling the Card

Layer the stamped card front onto the Blackberry Bliss cardstock matte, then layer that onto the white card base. You may use any type of adhesive with these layers, including dimensionals.

That’s all there is to this card. It is a #simplestamping card. This Corner Bouquet Sympathy card is both easy and elegant. It is very worthy of sending to a friend to show them you care.
